Terms of Use

Rules for using Qwalti. This describes current product behavior — not a substitute for legal counsel.

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Using Qwalti

Qwalti helps you claim and track product ownership and learn from real ownership outcomes over time. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to use it lawfully and honestly.

Ownership evidence

Claiming ownership means you represent that you own or owned the product. Receipts and Smart Scan results support identification; they do not automatically verify continued ownership.

Acceptable use

Do not upload content you do not have rights to share, impersonate others, manipulate scores or community signals, spam, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the platform.

No paid influence over trust

Manufacturers and retailers may not purchase influence over Qwalti Scores, owner evidence, failure visibility, or moderation outcomes. Commercial tools, if offered, sell insight — not influence.

Paid features

Some capabilities (for example Smart Scan allowances or Plus / Household features) may require a paid plan or credits. Uploading a receipt does not by itself consume a Smart Scan credit; starting a scan does, as disclosed in the app.

Account deletion

You may permanently delete your account from Settings. Details: Account deletion. See also our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
